If it lasts half as well as they say, this really is a superb product IMHO and one that will get a lot of use from me!Ĭar has been sat at home for 8 days while I was away, so gave it a quick wash and added a 3rd layer of PGP (why not when it takes <5 mins ) It also beads very well, although not quite as tight as the ***** beads, and sheets water nicely. It has much more flake pop than i have seen before on the car, and is about as wet as the 4 layers of Glasur that were on previously. The shine is great, with lots of reflections and it is developing a wet finish, even on the light colour. Slicker even than after I clayed it a couple of months ago. The finish is amazingly slick, and like nothing I have ever felt on a car before. The pictures show the results below after 2 coats, except the beading that was done after just one, in the start of the rain last night. Second coat was just as easy, with no more than 5-10 mins taken to do the entire car. No smears, no issues and it just dries easily.
I used maybe 10 mists from the applicator - virtually nothing. My gut feeling was i didnt use enough and didnt get complete coverage as the MF brick is soo big it makes it hard to know if you got to the edge of the panels etc.
On the dark silver it is hard to see exactly where you have been and you mustnt put this on too thick. PGP is weird, as I havent used any of these products before. It did however remove a a few specks of dirt and tar etc and the pad was dirty after use, so it obviously cleaned well. VERY easy and no residue or any effort required :thumb: Didnt notice any filling on a couple of tiny blemishes I had in the paint, and when used on a SFX2 pad at speed 4-5, I didnt see any correction either. Just polish the stuff on and buff immediately. I had 4 layers of Glasur on before, and it was removed and literally squeaked when wiped with a MF. The PPP leaves an incredible squeaky clean finish with a crisp, clear finish. Next day a 2nd coat applied after a quick wash & dry Walked away.massive downpours starting 3 hours laterĥ. PGP applied as instructed using MF brickĤ. Entire car polished with PPP on UDM and by hand in tighter areasģ.
Wont comment on that but will post some thoughts.Ģ. This has had loads of hype over at Autopia with claims saying it has the best finish and best durability around.

Paint Guard Plus (PGP) - wipe on, walk away sealant Paint Prep Plus (PPP) - Cleaner/polish (not abrasive) It also gives the car a nice sort of wet but close to matte-like shine.I bought a sample pack of the Ultima range from Autopia when I ordered my UDM recently, and just had a chance to use it so thought I'd post some info, as it has only mean mentioned here a couple of times. To fix saturaion, I just keep going without spraying. You don't need to spray as much as they say because your applicator becomes saturated. It honestly lasts much longer than they say too. It seems everytime I wash my car that the water still beads pretty well, so I won't always put this on. The longevity of the water beading is amazon too. The picture shows me putting it on my mom's van. I wish I could take a video to show how well this makes water bead.
Rejex vs ultima paint guard plus windows#
After washing a car (and clay barring if I have the time) I put this on and man, it does not disappoint! It does an amazing job with water beading, so I don't know if you can put it on all of your windows, but I do (windshield included) and once you're driving fast enough, the water just slides off the entire car, and you've got pretty clear windows and it dramatically made my wipers do a better job! I'm so happy I got this in a buy one get one offer. Includes 4" by 6" by 2" microfiber applicator. Our super durable formula protects for months, but you may apply it as frequently as you like.ġ2 ounce bottle with micro-fine sprayer.
